Clothing swap event

This was our very first clothing swap event, and what a beautiful way to start! We all came together in Griftpark, Utrecht, with the shared goal of giving clothes a second life and creating a meaningful alternative to fast fashion.

We turned the afternoon into a relaxed picnic, spreading all the clothes out on picnic tablecloths under the open sky. What started as piles of garments quickly became stories, conversations, and laughter as people browsed, tried things on, and helped each other find hidden gems. One girl even went home with 11 pieces she absolutely loved — a perfect example of how much value already exists in what we own.

Many clothes found new owners, and with them, a fresh chapter. More importantly, everyone left smiling. The sun showed up right on time, the atmosphere was light and joyful, and we spent a truly lovely afternoon together, connecting over sustainability, community, and the simple joy of sharing.

For a first event, it couldn’t have gone better — and it definitely won’t be the last. 🌿☀️
